1. TITHE SUNDAY: Today, the first Sunday of the month is Tithe Sunday, it will be done alongside our second collection. You can also make your transfers to our Fidelity Bank 5080032193 in favour of Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac. May we now rise while the priest pray for us before we come forward to drop our tithes and offering.

• Thursday December 8^th, 2022 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We are all obliged to attend mass on that day.

• Tomorrow, 5^th December 2022, is the first Monday of the month. There shall be special blessing and anointing at all masses. Let us all endeavour to participate in this spiritual exercise.

• The Pastoral team in conjunction with the Parish Choir Council invites all parishioners and guests to the 2022 Service of Christmas Carols and Lessons with the theme Be Christmas To The World. This event will take place next Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 3pm Prompt. It promises to be interesting and entertaining with performance from the CMO, CWO, CYON and other invited Guest Performances.

We shall also have the send-forth ceremony for our beloved former Associate Priest, Rev. Fr. Ebuka Afoma. Please note that there shall be a special Brochure for the Christmas Carols and Send forth Ceremonies next week Sunday. Price: 150 naira per copy. We call on all parishioners to participate actively, and send goodwill messages into the brochure at ₦30,000 per page.

• The Young Christian Workers Movement of Nigeria Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac Town heartily invites you to her annual WHITE CHRISTMAS PARTY today 4^th December, 2022. The Event begins with Red Carpet by 4:00pm. Tickets are available at our stand outside the church. Singles: 3000, Vip/Couple: 10,000. There shall be Special Entertainment and Gifts for our children today after the 8am Children Mass.

• Our Parish Advent Retreat holds from next Sunday December 11^th to Friday, December 16^th, 2022. Theme: Behold the King is Coming to Save You (Zech. 9:16). Time: 5:30pm daily. Retreat Preacher: Rev. Fr. Felix Isedu. There shall be Confessions, Counselling, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Daily Mass. Let us ensure we prepare prayerfully for the coming of Christ this Christmas season.

• Our Parish novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots comes up every month from the 1^st to 9^th of the month. Let us participate actively with the prayers on the various parish platforms.

• Therewill be Christian Wake for Late Mr Patrick Chuka Anagor–Okafor on Tuesday, 6^th December, 2022 by 6pm (Venue: 322 Road, Plot 1216A, Festac Town, Lagos). He was a member of the Catholic Men Organization (CMO).

1. SCC meetings will take place at the various community centers on Wednesday, 30^th November 2022 at 6pm. Scriptural reading: Matthew 11:2-11. Please note that there will be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time. Kindly check the Parish notice board for the various centers. There shall be mass this Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help SCC. Venue: 3^rd Avenue, G Close, House 4, Festac Town. All those living around should be in attendance.

1. PARISH OFFICE: The Parish Office will close for Christmas Break on Wednesday, 21^st December 2022, to reopen on Monday January 9^th, 2022. Please take note.

1. PRE-MARRIAGE COURSE: This is to inform parishioners that pre- marriage class which holds every Sunday at 4:00pm will close for the year next week Sunday, 11^th December 2022 and shall resume on Sunday 12^th January, 2023.

ALTAR LADIES: The Association of Altar Ladies is calling on interested parishioners within the ages of 15 years and above who wish to serve God with their time and decorative talents by beautifying the Sanctuary/Altar of God to join us every Saturday in the church by 4pm or contact Rev. 1. HOLY CHILD CHOIR: Are you a child between the ages of 7- 16 years and a lover of music? Do you want to develop the art of singing? Then join the Children Choir on Fridays (Omisesan Hall) – 5:30pm and Saturday (Upper Hall) – 12:00pm. Parents are also encouraged to support and permit their children/ward(s) to join the Holy Child Choir.

PARISH ID CARDS: This is to inform parishioners that the Parish ID cards of those who registered since last year and beyond are ready for collection at the Parish Office, kindly go to the Parish Office to check. Also, we encourage our new members to please register at the Parish Office and those whose card is expired can as well renew at the Parish Office.

• HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC PARISH LIBRARY: We are pleased to inform you that the Anthony Cardinal Okogie Reference (Parish) Library located beside the Anthony Cardinal Okojie Lower Hall is here to serve you better. At very affordable prices, we offer the following services: Photocopying, Lamination, Binding, Spiral Binding, Typing, Printing, Colored Photocopy etc. We also offer a vast range of books ranging from Literature to Accounting to Economics and a lot more. • (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with the Book of Judges. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

22. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments.
