THEME: “I BELIEVE IN LIFE EVERLASTING”
- In what does hell consist?
Hell consists in the eternal damnation of those who die In mortal Sin through their own free Choice. The Principal suffering of hell is eternal separation from God in whom alone we can have the life and happiness for which we were created and for which long Christ proclaimed this reality with the words, “Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire”. 1Jn 3:14-15; Mt. 25:31-46; Mt. 5:22, 29; 10:28; 13:42, 50; Mk. 9:43-48; Mt. 13:41-42; Mt. 25:41.
