SOLEMNITY OF OUR LADY QUEEN OF NIGERIA:
Tuesday 1st October, 2019 is the Solemnity of Our Lady, Queen and Patroness of Nigeria. It also marks the solemn beginning of October Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary in the whole Universal Church. We are all obliged to attend mass that day. Note: There shall be only two Masses that day; at 6.30am and 6.30pm.
HARVEST THANKSGIVING:
Today is the harvest of our brothers and sisters from the SOUTH SOUTH Region, AKWAIBOM, BAYELSA, RIVERS, EDO AND DELTA STATE. Let us support them in their regional thanksgiving.
ROSARY PROCESSION FOR PEACE AND SECURITY IN NIGERIA:
In response to the Archbishops call for prayer for peace and security in Nigeria, we invite all parishioners to this year’s Rosary procession and reparation prayer for peace and security in Nigeria, starting from the National Stadium Surulere to Marian Shrine, St. Agnes Catholic Church Maryland. Date: Tuesday October 1, 2019 (Public Holiday). Time: 7am.
ISLAND HANGOUT:

CATECHIST ASSOCIATION:
The Lagos Archdiocesan Catechists Association (LACA) 25th Anniversary Celebration will be hosted by Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac Town on Sunday 13th October, 2019. The event will commence with Holy Mass by 10:00am at the Parish Centre with the Archbishop His Grace Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins, Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos as the Chief Celebrant. Reception starts after the Mass at the Parish Event Centre 32/41 Road, Festac. Let us remember our Catechists and the Lagos Archdiocesan Catechists Association members in our Prayers for successful event.
CHAPEL OF ADORATION:
We wish to remind parishioners to kindly obey the set rules in front of the Chapel and avoid distracting others there. It is a holy place, let us respect its sanctity.

The WTK concert which had over 4000 individuals in attendance at FHA last year and hosted top Gospel artistes like Chinyere Udoma, Prosper Ochimana, Bejay Sax and others is here again.

EHJ CLINIC:
We wish to inform our dear parishioners that our beloved Sr. Eucharia Eghaghe, EHJ shall be proceeding on a 4-month sabbatical leave. Let us remember her in our prayers. The Clinic shall be administered by Sr. Elizabeth Ayinde, EHJ.
INDECENT DRESSING:
We wish to remind all our parishioners of the importance of decent dressing to the Church. The church is not a fashion Parade or a place for indecent exposure. Let us kindly ensure that we and our children dress properly to the Home of God.
PARISH OFFICE:
The Parish Office will now be open on Sundays from 8am to 1pm. Parishioners can take advantage of this opportunity on Sundays to book masses.

USE OF CHURCH FACILITIES:
We wish to appeal to all parishioners to kindly handle church equipment and property with care and always return them properly after use. Kindly note that the church hall should not be littered. No eating or drinking of any kind.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS:
We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through his Body and Blood. Amen.
DEAR PARISHIONERS, kindly be informed that going forward, Adults would not be allowed into the tent during the 8am Children’s mass at the Event Center, as the tent is reserved for the children only. Parents please note also that Children would not be allowed to attend mass at the 8am Parish Centre as they expected to attend mass at the Event Centre. Thank you for usual co-operation.
2019 CHRISTIAN PILGRIMAGE:

This is to remind Parishioners that our Parish uniform is still available for Sale, on Sundays at the 40th Anniversary Desk opposite the Bookshop (parish Centre); Souvenir Stand (Event Centre); and in the Bookshop on week days. The Uniform, which is of the finest cotton quality, is going for only N6, 000 per piece of SIX YARDS.

The Anthony Cardinal Okogie Library is open for usage to all parishioners and Non-Parishioners who intent to study for various examinations or read for information purpose. Also, we offer services like

HOLY FAMILY INFO-TECH SERVICES is pleased to announce the use of internet access at the computer centre. 30min, 1hour and 3hours time use. Computer training activities is in progress for interested individuals.
